It's getting to be that time of year again...
Does anyone know of any major liquidation sales events coming up? I like to cruise Manchester, VT and Stowe during late summer to score deals on last year's gear. It's amazing how much inventory is left over within a ten mile radius of those towns.
Growing up in Rochester, NY, we had the legendary Dome Sale every August. It was there that I picked up my first pair of skis - well, the first pair that my big brother hadn't already skied to oblivion. And it was also the only place on earth where one could buy a Jim Kelly jersey in full Gore-Tex.
Anyway, I'm wondering if there are any such events within two or three hours of Burlington. My K2's now consist of more JB Weld than original material.
