A boater's head must always be on a swivel as things do appear out of no where especially at speed, however Kayaker's need to be aware how low profile they are and the traffic patterns of a particular piece of water.

It’s very much like the ending of ski season. You tend to go longer than me as I like to have it put away by Halloween. But the lake level dropped and we did pull early this year. In our case like the 3rd week in MarchOne more weekend to go. Damn quitters. It is like a ski mountain closing on April 1st to end boating season now.
