Resort or Ski Area: Bolton Valley VT

Conditions: Heavy Snow Squalls, Powder, Packed Powder, scoured/thin cover on top.

Trip Report: Rolled up for $4 lift ticket day. New Quad was NOT running - they were still adding chairs to the line. Some guy I rode the chair with said they were shooting for Sat??

Conditions were pretty decent - 2-3" of new fluff and snowing hard all morning....lots of fluffy powder on sides of trails from last couple of storms...knee deep in most spots...very light/fluffy....trails near the top were wind scoured w thin cover, but sides were still workable.....since the quad wasent open and the $4 lift tickets, lines were a little more than would have liked, but all in all a great day.

Once again days like this remind me how much different the Northern VT areas get from Central Southern VT areas....both in Qty and Quality...

NO quad yet? Wow. It is not load tested either. That sux! I figured that they were going to have trouble given the weather and the late construction. Hope Doppelmeyr is paying damages for breach of contract...they're late.
