Annual Family Trip. BV is a great place for families.

- as usual, the access road was the most anxiety-filled run of the day ;)
- Snowed all day, but visibility was fine.
- PP, and chopped powder on almost all trails.
- Nice gentle greens for the lower-end skiers kept them happy all day.
- Lodge was very busy but plenty of seats, since the temps were in the 20s and everyone was outside.
- No real lift lines to speak of at any point, maybe 2 or 3 chair wait tops.

- Glades off Vista summit were un-inspirational. Kinda big and scratchy. The real discovery was that pretty much all the woods anywhere is ski-able due to the base. I took the recommendations folks made here, but found those targets to be pretty tracked out. But it didn't much looking to find untracked ranges all over the place. Vista and Wilderness had simply wonderful packed powder and their woods was fun. Woods at Timberline was so-so, it was kinda hard to get around. Let's just say, it's "un-pruned."

Looked to be about 6-8" newfallen snow. Woods were about 12" pow. Clearly southern VT was the winner this weekend. No regrets.

That's it for now. I'm pretty swamped today but want to get the pics up. Not a lot of blah blah today.

Thanks for the pics. I'm planning on hitting there for the first time ever on the back end of the AZ outing coming up March 19-22!
