Boston for a day, what to do?

If it is nice weather walk down Newbury Street between 12-3 if you can. Nice sights.

heading up to B'town oct 2 for the weekend with the wife...heading up Friday, get there late afternoon, dinner at Mamma Maria, Saturday walk around B'town, lunch at Union House..grab some beers, Red Sox game Sat night, wake up sunday, shoot over to Harvard area, bfast at henriettas table, walk Harvard etc....make way back to CT in the afternoon, pick up the kids and head back home to Long Island.....
