Anybody ever use one? The wife brought me home one from her work. I have read that some people fill the bottle and suck out of it and others will use it to filter water into another container. My intentions were to use when I was somewhere where water was plentiful and i didn't want to carry 3 liters on my back. If you carry 2 Nalgene bottles 1 full one empty you loose some of your weight savings. Any feed back on experiences with these let me know.

Go check out VFFT...

Thats a thread right about what you're talking about...and if you do a search on "bota" it will come up with a few threads about the same "type" devices. I dont use on. I bring a pump filter, but I do see the conveninece. There are a few that will go "in line" right on your camelback that work on the same principle.

go check it out over at VFFT...they have a TON of info about this stuff.

much luck.
