With so much competition - resort-wise & marketing spins - Burke would be wise to rely a little more on the best, cost-effective, promotion...word of mouth from those that have been there.

55 years of that hasn't really worked........

....please allow me to elaborate....unless the somewhat kitschy 'True North' campaign has been developed/produced/maintained pro bono by interns over at LSC the ROI from my suggestion or, riding the 'Pure' horse a little further would be higher.

I've only been visiting Burke since '77 so, I can't speak about anything prior - it's not marketing that's holding the mtn back, it's the lack of everything today's skiers want in addition to the skiing

Kingdom Trails brings more folks to Burke than the current marketing plan will.

Thanks TB but where the heck did you find that.I just looked all over that site and found no info at all.I find being sent to a generic snow reporting service very annoying. Is it just me?

TB got that from the December 6th Burke Blast Email.

I'm hoping that once they actually open, Burke starts maintaining it's own snow report page.

Sadly, I fine the trailmap on Snow Country works better than the flash one on Burke's website. :-?
