Steve, if you get another December 8th like that, I am gone for good and not coming back until May. That is definitely a no-excuses day. I think that's about the same time I hit Black NH and had a DEELITEFUL DEY!

Last year's early season was unreal. Always nice to be skiing trees in December but they were already well buried last year by November! :eek: I wish the photographer got paid for taking pictures. :lol:

I personally recommend the Trailboss Guided Tour of Burke.

If Trailboss volunteers, I'd love to particpate :)
Burke is one of my favorite places. What it doesn't have in size or steepness, it makes up in vibe.
As a day skier out of Boston, the place is a bit of reach for me. But when the snow is good, I will come out for half day and stay locally to catch a full next day.
