Spent the weekend at the homestead. Basically a tale of 2 opposite days. Mountain 100% open. Arrived at the mountain at 7 am Sat to deliever the boy to practice. Got the 1st chair for passholders 1st tracks at 7:30. Thursday/Fridays rain followed by below freezing temps made for waffle iron cord the first several runs. Did an west to east sweep of all routes down from the top as the temps rose. Best skiing was from about 9-11 when a late crowd started to arrive and things started to get skied off. Still managed to get about 35 runs in before quitting about 2:30. Hit the deck (Camelback has a great one) where the outside bar was open for beers after that.

Sunday arrived about 7:30 and was on the snow at 8. Amazing what good grooming and a little snowmaking can do on an overnight. Conditions were so much better then Sat. Did another sweep this time from east to west. Trails of the day were Cliffhanger and Marjies Delight where they had blown fresh manmade overnight. The temps on Sunday were much better and allowed the snow to remain much better as well. Got at least another 30 runs in Sunday before knocking off about 2.

Talked to my management connections who told me with the next window of opportunity the bumps on Lower Cleo would be going in. They asked me if I preferred Asp or Rocket for steeper bumps. I think I will tell them to go for Asp this year. Of course I suggested the skiers right of Cliffhanger as I have every other year. Anyway I have a hard time getting on them for anything this year as they have done tremendous work just getting the mountain fully open this year. All in all had a fun weekend.
