Trip Report:
Headed down for a few runs after class... 2 routes off the top of Peabody combine into Lower Gremlin right now... snowmaking on lower Cannon will make for 2 full runs to the bottom. Off the top, Big Link to Spookie to upper Gremlin is one option, middle Cannon is another option. The part of mid Cannon right above the unload for Eagle Cliff triple was the best section of trail on the mountain... ungroomed manmade. Like skiing on a sponge. So wonderfully soft. Ironically, the narrow section of Gremlin under the lift right next to it was scraped off pretty bad, so that section is a no brainer on where to go.
Off the top, mid Cannon under the lift was groomed so some slick spots down the middle and some nice LSGR on the side. Big Link was still in whale formation with some bump lines in the whales as well as a few slick spots. At the bottom, lower Gremlin had a few scratchy spots but was otherwise nice PP for a fun cruise to the bottom.
Got about 7-8 runs in just over an hour, a nice day out.
