Conditions: Ice, Hardpack, Pack Powder, Powder
Trip Report:
Picked up the season at 9PM. Only two lines for season passes, the line was were Upper and Lower Gremlin. Some soft bumps were forming on skier's left. The soft was soft all the way down. The wind was blowing quite strong at the top of the Peabody Express. There was essentially only two ways down. This made for a CF at itmes. I felt like I was at recess in the schoolyard with all of the kids doing race training. This is the reason why I quit so early and late night at Xmas party. The top of Middle Cannon was getting blown off and down to the very hard hard pack. They were blowing on Gary's. It did not look like any snow being made up high due to wind. I did hear that Upper Ravine has seen snowmaking, but couldn't tell. They say that the front five should be open by next weekend. They need more terrain to spread the people out. The Peabody was not at full speed to keep people down on the hill. No real lines, skied right on most of the time.
