Yes, ABUBOB please feel free to use our roads. The trick to getting around Concord traffic resulting from: Leaf Peepers 🐢, Old people who still have a license 🐼, all other tourists 🧁🍪 and lastly folks running drugs from" Springfield MA, New York, NY and Montreal".

So, I89 is a beltway around the Northwestern side of Concord. On the Eastern side you have Mountain rd., RT 106. These will both get you out of the I93 congestion.

From I93 you can take the exit on I93N (the exit before the Hooksett Toll booth, This will bring you to 3A. 3A can get busy from I93 overflow.

Other options Iron Works Rd runs parallel to I89N. One of the best roads in the state is Fisk Rd to Lakeview Dr. (One of the most scenic in the state according to Fritz Weatherbee). There are two orchards Carter Hill ( You can see Mt. Lafayette from a tower).

The trick is to point the nose of the car toward Cannon and floor it.

Hello from Cannon Mountain and Franconia Notch State Park!

Brisk mornings, cozy sweaters, and pumpkin spiced delicacies mean fall foliage is upon us. Franconia Notch is a leaf peeper's destination and well worth the trip north. We limit compacity at our attractions to ensure a comfortable experience for all. Don't miss your chance to take in falls fleeting beauty, make your reservations for the Aerial Tramway here and the Flume Gorge here.

Junior Development
Registrations for 2023/24 Junior Development will open this Sunday, September 10. We have revamped our Jr. Develpment program and are stoked to welcome you and your family back. For more information check out the Cannon Snowsports page.

Join the Team!
Are you, a friend, or family member looking for a job in the snow sports industry? Here's your chance. We are gearing up for winter and we want you to join our team. Perks include competitive wages, season passes or buddy tickets, industry and reciprocal discounts at participating locations and all you can eat snow days. We are looking for Snow Makers, Lift Attendants, Ski Instructors, Snow Reporters, Ticket Sellers and more. Head to the employment page for a full list of openings.

Hiker information
Are you planning on hiking in Franconia Notch this fall? Please keep in mind, this summer has been an extremely challenging hiking season, frequent rainfall has made trails muddy and very slippery. Trails are very busy during the fall and parking is limited at the trail heads. Head over to our hiker parking guide for more information on where to park and how to catch the hiker shuttle.

Franconia Ridge Restoration
Restoration efforts are in progress on the Franconia Ridge Loop. Trails crews are currently active on Old Bridle Path. If you encounter them; please follow the trail crew instructions, do not walk off the trail to get around a project site, and please be patient for both your safety and the safety of the trail workers.

See you soon!

Quote from the article:

The mountain has been preparing a bid package, and the project will be advertised at the end of October, Keeler said. It’s expected that the bid process will be complete in late spring of 2024, he said, and, after that, the company selected will reinspect the system and formulate a plan.

Keeler said the tramway will run this winter season and possibly next.

“We expect to be able to run the tram for summer [2024] and possibly for winter [2024-2025], if the construction process hasn’t started yet,” Keeler said. “It would depend on whatever the winning bidder gives us for a timeline. We’re hoping [the closure] won’t go beyond one summer and one winter, but that’s to be determined.”

So it’ll be a while.

They posted on instagram they are blowing snow. Test? New gm being aggressive?
They blew in October a few years ago, got a bunch down and opened really strong a few weeks later. They've been great early except last year was slower.

Cannon is trying to open for Thanksgiving. Hopefully, the Mass people will stop by and stay in the state and pay our taxes for us. I will not use the retard because I'm not that guy.

We see the mass folk coming a mile away. Also, drive by the mountain and veer right for a measured mile. This is there so people from Mass can see how far out of wack their odometer is from changing their wheels (before they pay their insurance).

On the upper mountain the early season problem (not mine) is collar bone injuries. Skiers catch the ledge and go over their skies and break one or two. Happens all the time. Where people are free you will have good people and bad. Where you have more freedom, you will have better people and worse...

Cold coffee milk with mint?
