Maybe I have missed this for the last 30 years but has the short trail from easy link down to the goat path always been there? Not on the map.
No. It is about three years old.

Did you try to stop on skate way? If you come off the last pitch of Zoomer and try to stop there will be gravel with this amount of snow. I wrecked a pair skis doing that. The trails are definitely skiable. I have skied them with about the same depth.

Cannon was great today for just groomers. Mid winter packed manmade.

I had to get a new RFID pass at Cannon today with my Indy redemption. I have no recollection of uploading this photo to them. But this is what they have of me. No joke. Haha

Did they fill that spot officially? Either way yeah day to day has been kicking ass indeed
The thing that I think that has helped is leaving guns on trails and bury them. Aka the upper mountain, Links, Middle Cannon, and Middle Ravine. Rock Garden aka Pebble Garden today and Upper Gremain did not get the length of snowmaking and it showed.

upper mountain has been skiing great all year. The conditions up there have been top notch compared to the past

The front five has been the cost of burying the upper mountain.

I also believe Greg Keeler is still an interim GM.
Give him the job, much better than last season's lackluster snowmaking effort. Better yet keep him as an interim as long as possible so he keeps up the good work, kind of like the career treadmill that corporate America loves to use to milk out max productivity.

Rumors from months ago implied he had another state job waiting for him and this was truly a temp gig, but haven’t heard anything for some time.

Was there today and all the open trails skied great for the 1st 2/3rds of the day. Got a little scrapy the last 1/3rd of the day. Still seeing the rain on Monday the place was in great shape. guns going on the lower mountain and they have started over at mittersil for the racers.
