FRANCONIA NOTCH, New Hampshire — Season passes for Cannon Mountain Ski Area are available for the 2005-2006 season. New Hampshire residents get a 25% discount on adult, junior, child, and senior passes purchased before December 14 (per RSA 227:14). A valid New Hampshire driver's license or state-issued ID is required to receive this discount.

Again, Cannon Mountain will team up this season with Gunstock and Mt. Sunapee Ski Resort to offer a college pass called the NH Breakout for $199. This season pass is good for full-time college students who present a letter from the registrar's office stating they are full-time. Cannon Mountain is also offering the Bold & Beautiful Pass for $249. This pass is valid Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) at Cannon or Bretton Woods. The pass is valid any day prior to Christmas or after April 1.

New this year is the Cannon Mountain Buddy Passes, they are designed to let companies, families, friends, and other groups of skiers/boarders pool their resources to get a great deal on lift tickets. The Buddy Pass is a point system pass and can be purchased in 20, 40 or 60 points passes. Pass prices ranging from $425 to $950.

In addition, Cannon's Snowsports School offers season-long programs for children and adults. Information on all programs, as well as season pass rates, is available on www.cannonmt.com.

Cannon Mountain offers nine lifts and 55 winter trails, as well as the newly developed gentle Brookside area. Cannon Mountain is operated by the Division of Parks and Recreation of New Hampshire's Department of Resources and Economic Development.
