whatev. ;) i've hiked three times in the last six days, today is my day off. besides, i don't blow vaca days for hiking in october. vaca days are reserved for lift serviced POW. tomorrow doesn't count due to short notice and work commitments :(

I liked seeing the leaves in the snow. A sign that you got an early start. Sorry so late over here. It had not sunk in yet that its time. Steve well done.

i do own a head lamp, not powerful enough to ski in the dark with though.

now that bob mentions it, one of the more interesting aspects of skiing this weekend was doing so with leaves on the snow. pretty fun experience! i have completed a much better written report at my web page:
