my girlfriend was way more ambitous than me and attemtped to duplicate a joker pumpkin she had seen in a magazine, i went for the more traditional approach.

My 3 year old saw a pattern of Dorothy and Toto (very simplistic) and insisted upon that on our huge pumpkin. So that's what I did (I freehanded, though; didn't trace the pattern). Cute, but not what I would have chosen.
