Catskills to Get 4 to 8 Inches Saturday Morning

May want to head up to Catskills on Friday and sleep close to Belleayre, Hunter, or Plattekill for some early Saturday morning powder.

Windham may be on the fringe and get a few inches less the other 3 resorts. Its probably all good though.

Plattekill opening day is this Saturday so bring your rock skis for Plattekill ;-).

Belleayre is opening new trails daily but still showing SuperChief lift 6 HSQ closed. This may change.
Hunter's World Class snowmaking is always awesome. :smash:

Heading up from NJ early in the morning. Hope the sleet and freezing rain holds off till the PM....and hope the highways are OK.

Should be a fun day though!

Hunter snow making capital of the world, today Racers Edge opened. Wow. manmade hellgate, 42 7th and Racers. Beautiful!

+100)!it was the best day of the season. Fantastic man made snow. Cold sunny nit as cold as I expected. Warm clothes keeping me ATM great show much sniw being made today at hill. Enjoy it tommorow. Go to go. If I had sniw tires I think it coming back

Awesome today at Hunter. Only thing is Howiet2 and I got stuck behind a slow snowplow on the way to hunter and got that doubled the amount of time it took to get to the mountain. Clair's was certainly my favorite of the day.
