Burke usually does a $10 afternoon deal in January and March. 12:15-4pm.

Check HERE for more info. FWIW I have not heard anything about the deal this season...

cheap(er) tickets.

Weekend deals are not standard in Jan/Feb. Usually just special occassions. I hunt for deals all the time. These come to mind.

1. Certain ski shops sell discounted lift tickets, such as Ken Jones in Nashua. Call and ask. Trick is, the shops are usually closed at the early AM hours

Here is last year's Ken Jones offer, to give you an idea:
KEN JONES (Nashua) Offers these tix:
Waterville $47, reg. 55
Cannon Adult weekend 46, reg 54
Cannon Adult midweek 24, reg 42
Bretton Woods weekend56 reg 64
Bretton Woods midweek 47 reg 57

2. In my office, we have discounted vouchers (usual blackout dates), but you have to go to So. NH personally to pick them up during business hours (bring cash). PM (today only, then I'm gone for the weekend) and I can send you the details.

3. If you have a ski pass from an area, many areas will give you a price break at others.

Wildcat offers a 20 $ lift ticket EVERY SUNDAY noon to close. No blackout dates.

That 20 dollar ticket for Sunday afternoon is fully upgrade-able for ALL DAY MONDAY at 29 bucks. Just do it before 3:30 Sunday, and get ALL DAY Monday for 29 $. Bliss.

A great deal if you can make it work for you. If you want to ski just Sunday AM, Wildcat can make that happen too--- for 36 $ 8:30- to noon. Sunday is THE ONLY day we offer that AM/PM ticket split, just be aware. That AM ticket is still good for the $29 bucks for Monday, as long as you upgrade before you leave. Still a great deal, especially if there is Retail Therapy or other Family Entertainment on your schedule for Sunday Afternoon.

Bretton Woods has a cheaper Sunday afternoon alpine tix, 12$, but doesn't add on the next day at a discount. If you want to skinny-ski, Bretton Woods will offer you a 9$ tik for nordic at Noon Sunday, good thru the end of the day.

Hope this helps
