Sunday and Monday nights should see temps dipping to 30 or below up in northern VT, NH, and ME. Maybe we'll see some mice flying this week perhaps?

The earliest that I can ever remember Killington testing their guns was September 17th and that was sometime around 1987 or 1988. They where the only ones that I can recall as having made snow in September.

www.skiloveland.com has a countdown clock for the start of snowmaking which is now at 14 days. They could get 2-5" of snow tonight above 10,500' .

correctly predicted a "polar coaster" of dramatic swings for last winter, editor Peter Geiger said. For example, New York City collected 40 inches of snow even though it was one of the warmest winters in the city's history.

For all those people who said they were wrong last year!

It got down to 32.8 here in Lyndonville overnight. Currently it's 34.2 at 7:40. It won't be much longer before the first flurries now, hopefully.
