I saw that Jay had some lifts closed today. Anyone know of other places with lifts on hold? I am trying to decide the best bet for tomorrow.

Unfortunately for the AZ gathering, there were wind holds earlier in the day for the North Face at Snow. :-(

Sugarloaf has not run anything higher than the superquad since Wed.Timberline has not opened most of this week along with spillway and king pine.Today it's just the Superquad and the t-bar up high.Jays been in the same boat most of the week.Sugarbush only had Castlerock open yesterday but today everthing except Lincoln peak.

Still very windy here in Lyndonville. Well..at least it'll help redistribute some of the powder that got tossed around the trails. :)

lift holds at jay rule  great snow today. i hate the freezer any ways and the tram is only good for val, beret, face, and chutes... generally not worth the wait unless it is first run or stupid deep. i'll take the bon and jet chairs with the freezer and tram on wind hold any day.

At Killington, they finally opened Superstar quad around 2....that with Bear closed caused some loooong lines at the Gondola and Snowdon....worth it though? Um, yeah.

I think Bear opened very late in the day, could see a lot of people at the top of the Bear Mtn. Quad around 3:45PM.

Snowdon Quad and Triple were fairly empty all day, nice powder to be had up there, and in the Canyon.

Yeah, we were at Sugarloaf on Friday, got there in time for first runs, 8:30ish....no luck there, though. ALL lifts were on hold, 'cept the very lower lift that only took you to just below the half pipe where the Carribasset Valley team was practicing/training. Had to hoof it up from the lift to get there. We went up to watch for a little while, and actually tried to get a little more of a run in. We ended up, giving it up about 11:00am...didn't look promising to get any lifts going with the high wind speed. Kinda sucked to take a day off for that. Oh, well, win some lose some, guess you gotta get some days like that when you try to go so much. But we were hoping to get a day during the week for some great turns after all that snow.
