I will be in Rutland,Vt for the Arts in the Park Festival.

I might ride my road bike up to Wachusett for the ski swap... obviously not to buy anything but Sunday/Monday look like good days to ride.

About 86 miles round trip. Plus a climb up the auto road. Should be a good day.

Marc you should hook up with Charlie Schussler sometime. He does long rides as well. Enjoy the ride.

The wierd thing about road biking is I've never been able to drive anywhere just to road bike. Some stigma about have perfectly good roads everywhere around me that I don't have to drive to. Although I don't have a problem driving somewhere to mountain bike.

I'll hopefully get over this next summer, I'd like to do some real climbing for once.... maybe Smuggler's Notch or the Kanc...

We did not go to Jiminy on Saturday to MTB bike due to the weather. A few of my friends went up to Portsmouth, NH / York Beach / Kittery, ME on Sunday. We were going to do a charter boat trip but it got canceled due to the rough seas. I took a few pictures:

We vacationed there many years ago. Nice place. Nice pixs.

Went to the Wa ski swap and sale yesterday.

The inventory had been well picked over, though there were some damn good deals there.


Saw a pair of Volkl P50 Motions for 100 I was tempted to buy after Riverc0il saying how much he valued his as a do everything ski but while the bases were good with only a few spots of Ptex, the edges were almost beyond repair.

Also rained like a biatch so I just ended up driving up instead of riding up. Crappy weekend for anything outside.



Although my house did get a thorough cleaning simply because there was nothing better to do.
