I really can't see how this can fill up 90 minutes. And one of them gets mauled/killed by wolves? Really? In a not so great ski area in New England? Really?!? Is the mountain haunted or something?
These days I find it hard to sacrifice 1 1/2 - 2 hours(or more) of my life to watching a movie. The only movie I have been looking forward to seeing at the theatre is Avatar, and thats cause James Cameron makes great movies. These days I rely on who the director or producer is rather than the cast.
Begin thread jack for something actually worth talking about....
Avatar is a good movie. Effects are very stimulating but the plot is thin as ice with two over blown extremely stereotypical bad guys with non-existent backstories (well, the entire movie is without a backstory to support it for that matter). The special effects make and save the movie. Welcome back James Cameron but all that time off did not produce a master piece. Worth seeing in the theatres for the effects.
I used to subscribe to following directors. But lately I have been let down time and time again. Avatar did not live up to the hype. David Fincher keeps flopping. Darren Aronofsky? Never will live up to Requiem. Sam Mendes films have gotten worse with every new film since AB (though still overall good films). I could go on. Christopher Nolan has yet to let me down at least.
