A minute from the Alta exit off the I-15!
I like our state because we have everything. Cities to the north and south. Mountains 3 hours north. Beaches. Never too hot or too cold (well, I spend half my life in the winter outside, so 20 degrees is nothing to me). Epic fall foliage, and 4 decent sized, not too pricy mountains (with a new one coming perhaps?)
And most of all, the CSC!!! Best state skiclub in the world! Awesome. Epic. Wow.

I've lived in Connecticut a couple of times over the years but it's now a drive-through state for me. Fix I-95, I-91, and I-84 and the rest of the region might not hate the state quite as much. ...and the Amtrak rail infrastructure in Connecticut is a mess, too. 60 mph is not high speed rail.

60 MPH to NYC is faster then the train I take from Middletown to NYC everyday for work. So slow.

Maybe now the rail part will be dealt with. Kind of sucks that it takes a train wreck to prompt some action.

I grew up in Manchester so I have a special place in my heart for CT. Although now in MA for over 10 years. Location is good though ... CT is pretty central to the entire northeast.

The problem is that most people describe CT as being easy to get to places in other states where they want to be. "Easy to get to my corporate drone job in Manhattan", "Easy to get to Vermont skiing", "Easy to get to my boat in Newport", etc.
