Crotched Mountain… just go there…

With all the snow we've had the last four days, and the roads a mess, I decided to ski Crotched Mountain Sunday, mid morning into early afternoon and had a blast, me and maybe 70 other people…

There is a lot snow there, and all is open, mother nature has been good to CM this year...

If your considering skiing southern NH try CM it is worth it…

I made a similar decision on Sunday and chose to ski Shawnee Peak as given the road conditions, it was only an hour and half ride as opposed to a probable 3 hour ride to Sunday River.

It was amazing. Now on a normal day, I'll ALWAYS drive the extra 45 minutes to Sunday River, but given the pounding snow, I wanted ON SNOW as quick as possible, to the point that I skied lesser terrain AND paid for it when I had a free voucher for SR. The $46 more than made up for the probably four hours fewer spent in the car for the day. The conditions were sick and same deal, MAYBE 100 people at the mountain including staff.
