They've been making snow solid for 3 days, and they announced they'll be opening Friday.

I was there not last weekend but the one before that and they were making snow up top. Good to see the smaller mountains opening, not just the huge ones with more firepower.

Yea, most of the original snowbase melted with the rains. While it isn't a huge area, I like it becouse I can go ski, not stand in long lines, and overall have a good time.

Def bonus to being 15 minutes away.

Friday, 1pm - 9pm (yes, night lights on day 1)
Saturday, 9am - 9pm
Sunday, 9am - 5pm
SEASON PASSES:
Season Passes will be available for pickup starting at 10:00am Friday. Cafeteria opens at Noon for lunch. Slopes at 1:00p.

I was going to post the following in the misc forum, but since there's a Crotched topic here...

I was listening to Howard Stern on Sirius this morning, and he used the terms "crotchedy" for someone who was acting witchy.

Anybody know the ticket price for friday night. The website says $22 all weekend, is that the nightprice also?

Yea, I'm going to be WAY behind you. Like, a day or two.

I had a chance to head up for 1pm, but it just wasn't to be. :-(

Hopefully tommorow it'll be better. Can't seem to find my damned gloves anyway. ;-) What trails where open? Good snow I hope?

What about the kiddy hill area, it doesnt look like it's open, and may put a damper on me going at least this weekend, at least one of my boys needs some practice before he heads all the way up.
