Hi everybody.

I'm considering a day trip to Jay Peak this saturday. Does anyone know what the travel time is from Mt Snow to Jay and if the conditions for the weekend will make the trip worthwhile. My buddies originally said it would be 2.5 hours but google maps says its 4+.

It seems like they're getting a ton of snow and I just want to get into those glades at Jay!!!

I'm going to say around 3 - 3.5 hours. Mt Snow is around a half hour off 91, as is Jay. And then say around 2 hours for the 91 traverse, depending on how fast you drive. I'm just over 1.5 hours from my house to exit 2 on 91, and it's about a 4.5 hour trip over all, although I've never driven it in the winter.

I will be there probably Sat and Sun. I don't know about the driving time from So. Vermont but I would say it's definetely worth it to go anywhere north this weekend.

See you on the slopes (If you see a tele guy in all black with a silver helmet say hi)

3.5 sounds accurate to me too. google probably sends you up route 100 for the stop and go through towns, but i suspect i91 would be much quicker in good conditions.
