I had a great ski season, but I didn't ski anywhere that was new to me. I'm a little disappointed in that. How about you guys, did you get to the mountains you wanted to?

BTW- I did get to Hunter after a 7 year absence. I was glad about that. It was an AZ gathering so that made it even better.

New this season: MRG, loaf, attitash, pico, Copper (CO). With the all for one pass it was harder to justify going to other areas... next season I plan to do a bit more exploring!

We already have a thread on this, but I'll lock that one and let this fresh one roll on.

As I said in that thread, I got to Gore which was on the to-do list. Burke still alludes me. Other new areas that I also want to get to include Whiteface, Stowe, Jay, Wildcat and Cannon.

after a long hiatus in northern maine spent most of the winter enjoying the mtns north of route 100 getting reaquainted with old and new woods lines, did finally make it to stowe for the first time for can day and the last real deep powder day of the year - very impressed with the fall line and seemingly endless tree lines and ravines - didn't make it up any higher than the gondy but enjoyed it enough to want to go back some midweek powder day

New mountains that I planned to visit:
Catamount
Hunter
Mt. Snow

Added bonus:
Berkshire East - I hit the BEast on a Sunday while traveling back from Mt. Snow. I enjoyed it so much I jumped at the invite by Greg and the crew to hit the BEast Friday of that same week. I will def. revisit the BEast next season when they get a nice dump.

Some revisits this season of mountains I didn't hit in 2005-06 were Magic, Beast and MRG. I also hit Snow and Killington once each this year and haven't skied either in probably 4 or 5 years. Didn't make it to Catamount this year but wanted to.

Vail gets a bad rap for being a rich posers resort. There is truth to that, but their bowls are awesome. I like it there and I don’t care who knows it.

Just avoid the front side, and you're good to go. It's really a pretty incredible place. The bowls are unbelievable! Of course, I was there mid-week in the middle of April on a day that they probably did < 1000 skier visits, so that worked out well.

Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee were the new ones out west. Already planning a possible return out there again next year:-D :-D

Cannon was also new to me this year, I couldnt believe I had never been there before this year.

First year ever doing Tucks as well, if that really counts...

New this season:

Sugarloaf

Quechee, and that was a hike and ski.

Went back to Middlebury...after a 5-6 year hiatus. About the same amount of time since I had skied Pico and Killington...and as you know, I was there too!

We got to hit the legendary Stowe for the first time this year. It was our coldest day skiing ever. 10 below at 2:00 pm. Also got to return to Burke and Sugarbush.

Hit Stowe, Jay (for a few runs), Smuggs, Magic Mountain, Targhee, and killington after a 5 year absence. If it wasn't for this website i would have never gone that far North. Always escaped to the west but now know where to go when it's dumping. Still have to get to the Bush though.

Crystal Mountain (in Washington State) and Whistler were new to me. If you count the summer as part of this season than Las Lenas in Argentina was new too.

All March we joked about skiing Tuxedo Ridge for free but we never made it.

The ASC pass mainly kept me at Killington all season.
