BUFFALO, New York — Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts (DNCP&R) has been named the new hospitality management company for The Balsams Grand Resort Hotel in Dixville, New Hampshire. The resort will officially re-open for the 2005 season on May 27, under the helm of Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts, and from then on will remain open as a year-round destination. As the new operator, the company will be responsible for overseeing all lodging, food and beverage, retail and recreational operations for the 139-year-old, full-service resort destination, which includes management of the renowned culinary academy at the property.

Both new and long-time returning Balsams Resort guests can look forward to a newly expanded menu of recreational and interpretive programs, utilizing the vast natural landscapes abundant in the area.
