catskillman, it seems that pretty much all of your posts are aimed at defaming Hunter.
whatever.... We are suffering form a major storm... I mean - major.. The town is paralyzed with 6 foot plus of snow... the snow has been relentless. We have power outages in town.. So does the mountain.. People can't even get down their streets... Or out of their driveways...
+1 The town looked like a wreck on Friday. It snowed all day Friday. Not sure what they got Friday overnight and Saturday...
We got another 10" Friday to Saturday... Insane..

I had a great time...if you couldn't get to Hunter because you decided to party Friday night and get up at the crack of noon, tough. You snooze, you lose.
good one... I got out late Sunday... Found a spot no problem..
Cut the quad line Saturday morning(yeah... I suck).. skinned up to Rusk from the quad.. Missed all the fun..![]()
I have also attached a link (thanks Alan) to some photos taken during the Z lift Exodus / Death March when power failed on Saturday and about 300 including ski patrol who had been in the Z line had to walk the 1.8 miles along Rusk Hollow Rd back to the lodge as no shuttle was running.

Why didn't people just hike back up?
Thats what I would've done...![]()
Wayout that it. Would have been easier and shorter...
