don't get your panties in a bunch, I'm not giving you crap about the topic or the thread, hell, I even read most of it, my reply is my answer to the debate, not a shot at you, deep breathes are needed I think, but my god, are people really debating this, how about this for something constructive to add

 I'm not bent in the least, I was responding to what you wrote, that's all.

Walk and carry 18 holes on a hot/humid day and it's pretty demanding physically. I only play once or twice a year and usually ride when I do, but even then after 18 holes, I don't feel like I was just sitting around. Most people that think golf is an easy "game" that fat old guys play never even tried it.

I couldn't make it through 18 holes at the Bethpage course, damn thing is huge and they don't allow carts. Golf is anything but easy.

Can you belive, anyone cares what " ol' Plakey" thinks, is or isn't a sport ? Don't get me wrong, He was cool, in all the Miller films and who else can you see hosting Reel Thrills on RSN. I think of something I heard him say once about cliff jumping, to the effect of "It's just a drop, unless your going faster when you land, than when you launched, It's just not as radical".
But, come on, It's not like he invented the SPORT of skiing.
To consider it other than a sport is " just not as radical " and lessens it's overall value.
The compitition aspect of any sport is merely a facet of the activity, not the other way around.

Plake quit drinking about 15 years ago.

yes I know, It was a good thing, or we wouldn't have such a great character as plake around. he still is in a cloud about what a sport is though, IMHO

Insult me if you must, say I wear panties if you want, but never ever call me a Yankee fan, I hates them. I'm a proud Mets fan.

im psyched for you...they look pretty good, hopefully they'll stay healthy. it would be nice to see pedro back in your lineup as well.
