Does anyone have any idea on Ski Butternut's future plans?

I just want to know what Butternut might be doing to improve the mountain over the summer or in years to come. Maybe a new lift (high-speed quad to top). also maybe a few more trails being cut in a few years or for next year. I've always wanted to see if a skiercross/boardercross could go in too. Another thing that I wish would go in is a halfpipi. I would reccomend the area next to the Highline Quad that is already almost cleared out.

They just added an FG quad last summer and another the summer before that. I doubt that you'd see an HSQ there. The trail layout doesn't have the capacity to support it, IMO. Have a look at last year's AZ challenge responses:

Perhaps the status of some of those items have changed. Be sure to pose your questions this summer in the 2006 challenge. We'll likely try to get Butternut to participate. Welcome to the forums!
