Going to sign my life away and finish the house buying process...

Might be signing my life away and looking at rings with Ms. Trailboss....

Still waiting to get a chance to "seal the deal"...

Good luck - congrats!

Maybe going into NYC to walk around & check out the Tall Ships. Having a bbq w/ friends on Saturday, little league games and relaxing (translation: chores!). Catching up on sleep. Cuddling w/ my hubby.

Long weekends RULE!

Coaxed a couple Bump-fiend friends out Thursday for an exhilerating day of paddling ("creeking" with the high & pushy water levels;-) on the Penobscot's North Branch. The exciting activity for the weekend has been mowing the lawn
:p "new mower"...words Bob R, just braggin' words till we see pics... :)

Hiked up to Whiteface Mnt in the Whites, only to find that my 1998 map showed 3 shelters that no longer exist. That's all right, nothing some ponchos and a lot of guyout rope couldn't fix ;)

Yesterday I went biking for about 30 miles from Cheshire to New Haven and back - that was loads of fun.

The Bronx Zoo was really nice yesterday, it was great weather. The Butterfly exhibit was so beautiful! I liked it so much that I decided we need to build an atrium where we can breed butterflies. My husband is like...great, another project! Luckily for him we can't add on any more to our house w/out a variance which will probably take so long that I'll lose interest.

We also had dinner in Little Italy. Plus gelato and cappuccino for dessert. Good thing we walked like 5 miles.

On the way home we were waiting at Fordham station and saw a beautiful hawk perched on top of an old TV antenna on one of the buildings. He looked very majestic with the setting sun behind him. It's neat to see a wild animal like that in NYC living free.
