really though, it would make sense to open up a dialogue with your core consumers. those that spend the most money and the most time at killington mtn. i think the biggest problem was all the lying that took place. listen, it is their company and are free to run it as they please....but do not lie and insult the intelligence of your consumers.

What happened over there was a amazing. Even before that post, the s/n ratio was way to high but down a lot from a year ago

K seems to really be trying, I know there's some hard feelings over some of Powdr decisions, but everyone deserves a 2nd chance

i read the thread and honestly, there are some valid points made. I think, from what i've seen on there in the past few years, is that a few people went overboard along with some "misleading" information posted by killington representatives led to the current situation for them. I doubt very much the wanted poster used by an admin helped much either. I do think the blame falls on both sides.

Not too many people here have a real connection to killington. Yeah, there are a few but for alot of us, at least the people i've skied with, its just another good place to ski. Not the best, but probably the best day trip option for big mountain skiing coming from S. NE. (I'm excluding Magic due to the reliance on natural there.) So emotions run much higher plus the nature of the board where you have to seemingly swing the biggest d*%k to survive.
I still read kzone regularly for updates you just have to filter out the noise like any board.

I agree with you a million percent here. Killington is about the southern most mountain that scores upslope dumps and has overall steep terrain. It's right on the outer edge of day trippable for me at about 3:15. The next stop for great VT skiing is the MRV and that pretty much requires an overnight.
