I just watched the Black Mt. Video. It's pretty good stoke, for a wide audience. yes, it's got some marketing hype, but watching 10 mins of New England Powder skiing is wicked stoke, since it's all attainable within the next few days.

They have smuggs, wildcat, Okemo and others. Limited, but what's there is good.

I've Tivoed the show for the past few years so I've seen every episode. They need to expand the mountains they cover. They have already doubled up on some mountains, like Smuggs, and never cover places like Sugarbush.

The concept is great but the production is pretty weak. They also need a better host. They used to have two guys hosting, the current guy, Earl, plus another guy who was a pretty weak. Now just Earl hosts. After two episodes, he is pretty annoying. Don't really need to hear "yeah baby" 15 times each episode.

Agreed re target audience. The scenery and skiing makes up for the host's limitations

The show and host are pretty weak. They do not really give any in site on the mountain. We just watch Earl ski a trail or two, do some hooting, sneak off to a woods stash and head to apres.

I do watch it every chance I get and will continue. Kind of like watching amateur snow porn, but it is snow porn none the less.

well ist not targeted at my age either. it was kinda funny when they where talking about how the double chairs where so great at smuggs. not. i would rather do gondi laps at stowe that sitting on the double all day. a run on the gindi takes me about 45 to hour with travel time. if they put a high speed in i would spend some time .

I saw the show for the first time the other night on NESN. I found it informative, it was from Mont Tremblant and a few other Quebec hills. The host is abit annoying, anyone know his background?
