Lift personnel working at the North Brook Gondola Station and apparently fell from catwalk onto the floor 13 feet below. Thoughts to the family.

Never heard it referred to as Northbrook.

Been called that since the original K gondi went in. Route 4, Northbrook, Skye Peak and K Peak (now removed) stations.

oh, that's a sad day. i've known chalker for years, good lift mechanic and loyal employee. gonna be tough in L-M for awhile.

northbrook is the mid-terminal for the gondola, has an ops house, 100% cabin storage, NDT rooms, lunch room, and facilities for the crews working at that lift, plus needles eye, and northbrook crossover load stations.

you can unload there to get to needles eye or ssxo load stations, or stay on to unload at skye peak. passengers can also load there to move out of that pod, to access upper mtn stuff.

yes, the original northbrook station was re-purposed to accept the new (longer) cabins.
