I've only met him a couple times and never had the chance to chat with him much, but Eski seems like a great guy.

Eski's last run down Mt. Snow on closing day, 2008.

What the photo doesn't show very well is that at this point it's a lot like skiing a giant 7-11 Slurpee run.

I was Mister Moose's ski date that day. Ms Moose was at the bottom of the hill with Radar the wonder dawg. Eski certainly lives life to the max.

thanks guys!

for those of you that don't know, it happened out of nowhere, woke up and hit the floor ... after tons of testing, they figured it was a clot from an old injury that found it's way to my brain ... freaky for sure, as I never had any health issues prior ... my goal throughout therapy was to get on skis again, but I had to master walking first, I'm still not so great at that as my friends can attest to

the last couple of years my goal became to ski my age in days, now that I've retired, I want to double it ... life is what we make of it, I try to make mine happy ... I'll never be a great skier, but I ski with a smile no matter what ... enjoy every day, because like it or not, they're numbered :daffy:

I met him a couple years ago for a few runs as well and had the same impression. Great that he can still ski so well.

Ed skis alot better than he did before the stroke which is the most amazing thing of all.

Eski is one of my heros of the snow.
