No I am not talking about drinking and skiing at the same time. But nothing gets me more stoked about skiing then the apres ski afterwards (or mid day also!) To me, there is no other beer to drink in the northeast other then Longtrail...

I know in the past I have always made it a pilgrimage to ski the last day at K-Mart (when the operated late into May) and to hit up the brewery after a good day of spring corn...

to me... Longtrail = ski season!

While skiing any kind of cheap light beer in a can. After it's either an IPA or coctail.

I've been in a heffeweissen rut for a couple o' years. I've been buying Franziskaner. Long Trail ale has too much bitter hop bite for me. At the brewery, I drink their heffe and occasionally their Belgian white.

Probably my favorite would have to be Sam White Ale. I love the flavor, and since it's not usually available until late Feb/Early March, I know that when I get to start drinking it that my favorite time of the ski season, spring skiing, is just around the corner.

Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA (when available)

Don't drink too many of those after skiing. You might end up in the hot tub with andyzee. Those 90 mins pack a punch.

I like to mix up the beers apres. Although I find myself doing IPAs in the warmer months and dark beers in the winter (Guinness, Saranac Black Forest, any oatmeal stout).
