Maybe sucks is too strong a word. How about it’s not very challenging and a good skier might get bored with it.
I have not skied Windham in 5 or 6 years but from what I remember it was alot like Jiminy as far as challenging wise.

Plattekill doesn't fit into the criteria - they claim a vert of 1100'. Although, I think that's a problem with the criteria as it is a great mid-sized place after a storm or anytime during a good snow season.
saddleback claims 2000, but like burke... the lower mountain is all run out and beginner trails. i will give you that burke and saddleback definitely do not ski like 2000' peaks which both claim, but mad river? mid-sized? i would argue that mad river skis even bigger than its vertical would suggest. my runs at mad river are by far the longest runs out of any mountain. most mountains, 20 laps on the chair lift is just getting started but if my legs are still alive after a dozen runs at mad river, i am doing pretty good. mad river is by far the most intense 2k vert in new england for in bounds terrain.* Burke, Mad River, and Pico are all mid-sized mountains though they have ~ 2000 feet of vertical. Saddleback is also a shade over 1800.
