I’m so ready…still not sure if Magic or Mount Snow. Magic is going to be a shitshow but probably best chance of no wind hold tomorrow.

Came down to attitash for a couple runs. Much heavier snow. Not dry. Elevation matters if you're getting out tomorrow.

The next Incoming Friday 3/17/2023 weather system is trending warmer then freezing at some mountains with .25"-.50" of moisture possible in some form. Teens and near zero wind chills Saturday night through Sunday night.

Did someone order glazed over? Because that is the wrong order off the menu and here's hoping some mountains avoid it.

Jay peak is currently claiming that they will stay cold on Friday (mid-20's) at their position and elevation and stay all snow. Here's Hoping so for them and maybe a few other mountains.

*****North VT closing snow updates***** 3/15/2023 4pm
Sugarbush ------------ 111/111 (29"+ storm total)
Smugglers Notch -----78/78 (15"-19"+ last 24hrs) (30"+ storm total)
Stowe ----------------- 127/128 (17"+ last 24hrs) (33"+ storm total)

I'd take a run off the roof if it looked like that 😂
Contemplating dropping off my back deck, after I shovel it off on Friday afternoon, into the pile that will be on the ground below it! Usually it's about 18 feet down from the deck railing to the ground, was probably 14ft before this storm (association by-laws has us having to clear it off within a week of a storm) so there was already a good mound there, might be less than 10ft after I shovel with some tight trees on a decent pitch not too far past the pile of snow! After a couple of post shoveling rehydration tito's, soda and limes, anything may be possible! 🤣🤣
