A few new shots on goal just appeared for next week. If we can squeeze 15+ inches out of the next week that's at least a start.

Havent asked, but cant figure out, you're living in Draper, but mostly skiing Park City this season? There must be an explanation there as that's more than twice the driving time & driving distance, and the skiing isnt really as good.

I live at the top of suncrest at 6000 feet.
Alta can be 45 to 60 minutes with no traffic.
Park city is 58 minutes....and no canyon to get up.

Yea Chris Tomer showed a little more action up coming today over the last report of his I saw. Some decent totals for both the Rockies and the Northeast between Christmas and New Years. Seemed to show several storms stacked up in the Pacific like planes waiting to land. Fingers crossed

Surprising; Alta is only about 50'ish minutes for me with no traffic, but I'm way farther away than you. I know traffic on the front is getting exponentially worse by the year though. I dont go into the SLC office much, but when I do it just blows my mind that I can beat people there who live in places like Lehi or West Jordan, etc...

My son is hoping for a reverse KS effect soon! He's flying out to SLC in about a week to stay and ski with one of his best friends who's a junior at U of U! Got to ski with both my son, and his friend (and his friend's parents who I am good friends with) on a great Bluebird day at Mount Snow this morning. So much fun watching our kids lay great arcs in the snow as they leave us older folks in the distance!

My son is hoping he won't need to bring his rock skis on the flight next week! Let the UT snow globe go off in a big way this next week!

Alta is almost always going to get more snow than PC. One exception is a southern flow, but that's pretty rare. There was a major storm like that last year that demolished Sundance (like people got trapped).

Praise be that it's starting to snow.

As of this morning, both Park City & Snowbird were at record lows for this date. I think this data goes back 33 years if I understand correctly, so worst ski season in 33 years thus far if so.

Was wondering where the data is drawn from? Does it contain all the World or just US mountains?

My youngest son drives out on Saturday to live for a few months with his girlfriend who instructs at PC (he has the Ikon so he will be skiing on the other side though). He is ski bumming until mid March when he starts backup with the feds in Idaho fighting wild fires.
