Havn't gotten a whole ton of rain in my area...

Wondering if anyone has been taking some shots of the bad flooding going on in other parts of the region.

If so post them!

Fortunately the ground was sooo dry around here, a lot of water has been abosrbed.

Unlike last fall when we had the same weather pattern except the ground was already soaked.

I wish I had my camera for some of the roads we blocked off and the basements we pumped. One guy was kayaking around in his basement. At least he was making the best of things.

How's things by you Austin, meaning your house and stuff?

Fine, no flooding whatsoever. Really lucked out. All of those pics are from the pond down the street from me over flowing. Its probably going to keep getting worse because of all the water coming from ponds higher up and the water out of the hills. Two ponds that are connected underground and are about .25 mile away now are connected above ground just over the roads and across a church parking lot.:-o

Nice pics.

I am so amazed that folks are actually driving through the water. I've heard that is not good for your car.

That water is not really deep enough to effect the cars and especially those suv, they will just blow through that water.

I just talked to him and he said that you can usually see 6-8' below that arch/underpass in the building on the left in the pic. He says it's pretty bad there and there's some concern about the dam breaking...
