Franconia Ridge...

My Brother in-law and I did the ridge for the first time this fall. Best trail I've done... the scenery was unreal.

You're right. I've done it a couple of times. In fact the first time I planned it with a guy I knew from College. However, due to the cloudy weather, I believe, he had changed the plans when I met him, and we hiked up to the Cannon Balls. It was a case of poor planning. We got caught out after dark. The return was quite difficult. After that I realized that I did not need this guy and have never seen him since. Two weeks later, I went ahead and hiked the ridge on my own. Great experience. :flag: I also found last winter that it can be done easily with ice and snow on the trail. I used Stabilicers.
