I'll be heading out tomorrow for this great event. If you happen to be going, stop by the Rock the Earth booth and say hi. My brother is the member of the board and I'm helping out all weekend at the booth.

I went in 2002 and had a great time. Phil and Friends played 2 nights. It took me 9 hours to get in and parked that was the end of my visits there.

It was a complete cool deal inside. Those who abused the freedom paid big time.

The motor cycles running up and down the road on the sides where the vendors were during musical sets was not something that should be tolerated.

That being said... This is one of the best community events and vibe I had even been to. Hanging with folks was great. Brought back the days of camping and touring. I have many friends who are on the way there. I hope Bobby puts on good shows. Don't bring glass and don't light fireworks or it will be a short weekend.

Anyway have a great time. Its great for most. Maybe I'm just getting to old. Please post about you time in the GD thread as well. Glad to see the GD vibe rolling along.

I have heard horror stories about the long lines getting in. This year they are opening up the gates on Thursday and I'll be heading up early, so hopefully it won't be a problem.

Particularly looking forward to Saturday night. Rythm Devils featuring Steve Kimock and Mike Gordon - followed by Rat Dog, so one would guess he'll sit in. 3 outta of the original 4 ain't bad
