Geax Saguaro Tire - 27.5in
The Geax Saguaro is able to handle a wide range of conditions. And as 27.5-inch tire, it's both an all-mountain and enduro gem -- a folding tire that handles all conditions, but excels in the dry hardpack.
This is due to the knobs attached to an uninterrupted ridge down the center of the tire. That's for a steady ride on the hard stuff, but the knobs spread out towards the shoulder so that they are able to dig into the trail when cornering on loose dirt. The 'C-shaped' shoulder knobs right above the sidewall will hold your line when you're maxed out.
Tread is, however, only one part of the tire story. Almost as important is the casing underneath. The Geax TNT casing is made from a cloth that has 120 threads per inch -- quite supple by mountain bike standards. The sidewalls are also reinforced with nylon in order to minimize both cuts and folding when riding at low-pressure. Holding the tire onto the rim is a traditional folding Aramid bead. The tires can be run front or rear, and if you need a little more dig in the rear, reverse the tread direction for more of a 'scoop' effect.
