Unfortunately, the course at which I play much of my golf is virtually in mid-season condition. Fairways are lush, greens are putting well. There's a time and a place for golf, and now is not the time. What a depressing weather pattern we've had of late. I've tried to be patient but it's time for snow. And if I don't get my wife on the slopes soon, I fear bad things will happen.

TB - you'll be proud to know I have a 12 noon tee time tomorrow. Everyone has to take advantage of their sport when they can. Last year you guys had 3 feet of powder before Halloween, this year I am golfing almost in December. It's all good. Don't hate on us golfaz...........;)

I golfed today too. Usually the course I work at closes around the 15th, but this year they are not going to close untill it snows (hopefully real soon)

This is down right disgusting

I played golf in January last year, in freakin Maine!!! That was disgusting. At least the ponds were frozen so it was hard to loose a ball:wink:

I have a "lift time" for 12 noon on Monday at K-mart.

I know which one I prefer.

Played OK, not great, but it's still better than no golf. It's still remarkably green for this late in the season. Bet the grass conditions at my local golf course were better than the snow conditions in VT.......;)

Wow TB - if you're really gonna become a lawyer you going to need to get over this pathological thing against golf. Queechee Country Club is calling out to you.......Give in, Michael. Give in...........

i hiked today which is my fair weather equivalent of doing an off season outdoor activity that i don't normally do in late november. my lack of late november experienced showed, i forgot a flash light and head lamp despite leaving a bit later than usual and got stuck walking out in the dark :( dang 4pm sunsets! not used to those during regular hiking season.
