Looks like I'll be heading up to Loon on Saturday for my first runs since March of 99... I've got a couple layers of dust to buff off of my skis before then...

Hate to say it, but the conditions may be kinda crappy this weekend. Supposed to see some rain and temps in the 40's up there this week. You may want to hold out for the next snowstorm if possible. Then again, the way this winter has been going, there may not be another one! Check out my Loon TR for the absolutely perfect weather we had last week!

The glades were mostly closed when we were there, and will mostly likely remain closed unless they get a big dump. Nothing overly steep at Loon. Angel Street is a nice steep run though with some varied pitch and nice windy turns. Triple Trouble is a great natural run and Flume and Walking Boss (Upper) are some nice blacks. If you like bumps, they should have some fields (intermediate blues) on Rumrunner and Sunset. Rolling Bear is a neat little, but short bump run. The views of several major White Mountain ranges (Kinsmans/Cannon, Franconia, Twins, Bonds, and the Pressies) can't be beat, except at maybe Cannon or Wildcat...
