I figure that we will soon be entering the Great Depression II and soon some will be dropping off due to economic conditions and loss of jobs, income, and, dare I say it, Internet connections. So, before that happens, I would like to take this opportunity to say it's been fun and I've really enjoyed my communication with almost all of you :) Good luck to all in these tough times!

I keep saying that if they're gonna lay me off (I don't think they are, just being hypothetical) then I hope they do it in the winter. Then I can collect my severance and ski my ass off for a couple of weeks before getting a new job, probably at Target or something...:daffy:

Haha, I worked at Target for a while after I got out of college because I couldn't find a job (2002). I'd imagine that this year's group of college graduates will have pretty slim pickings when it comes to opportunity . . . Especially those looking for Investment Banking Jobs. . . .

Well no, I was a wee lad back then, so I don't remember much. But I do remember my parents taking me to see you. Remember, you had the hand drill back then, not too sharp and it kind of sucked when you started drilling and all the smoke started coming out of my mouth! Even worst was when you started yelling at my parents cause my you said my teeth were too hard and ruined your drill!

Yeah too bad because people were just starting to become aware that there was a problem in the first place. I'm still rooting for expensive gas.

I'm convinced a major recession will be good for the country in the long run.

.......maybe, but I don't think now is the time to root for anything in life being more expensive....whether good for the long term or not. People have had enough

It hurts me too, I'm far from wealthy.

Look at how quickly folks interest sparked over the last six months due to 4 dollar gas. It is already fading as prices continue to drop.
