I might be joining you guys/girls after taking a pretty good spill down Gunbarrel at Sundown Sunday morning. I have been taking it easy the past few days and some of the pain has gone away, but if I push on the inside of my knee or twist or walk on it the right way it does hurt. From reading what some of you have said that sometimes there is very little pain even though there is some damage.

Going to call to make an appointment tomorrow and see what they say.

Maybe just an MCL sprain? My knee did swell up like a grapefruit for a few days. Best to just have it looked at rather than take chances or waste time if you are good to go.

Hopefully it is just something minor as it only swelled very little but it did hurt pretty good on Sunday compared to now. I am planning on getting it checked out.

Knee sprains

Like Terry, I sprained both knees and suffered tears of the medial menisci. In a flash I went from having two perfect knees (for a guy in his 40's) to limping around like a busted up rodeo cowboy. The MDs at Alta gave me a neoprene brace and advised me to go easy on the telemarking for the rest of this year. The right knee remains messed up but seems to work fine for powder skiing. Knock wood, the ACLs are still intact. An MRI is coming up as soon as my boards are waxed and put away for the Summer. TMac

Been lots of ACL/Knee threads lately and I've just joined the busted ACL out for the season club. So here's a poll.

....need the "Other" answer.....!;-)

wa-loaf....
I would definitely be in the "Other" category....nothing has happenned to prompt me to a checkup with specialist, however in eons gone by....the crap I knelt on to paddle during the infancy of ww-canoes....scary days. I luv glucosamine! ...but I just might go just for a check up this Spring.
