Way to go! Pictures are great. Don't bother listening to that man on the HSQ. He doesn't know what real mountians are (or real skiing either, for that matter).

those pics are $$$, especially the second one. The camera could have been upside down, it doesn't matter, that is one killer shot!

Really, really good photos, especially two and three, which I think are magazine worthy. Fantastic light (which is the most important) and good composition.

Were you using a point and shoot or something more substantial? I've gotten good shots with my DSLR the few times I've brought it with me, but it's a pain to lug around the slopes. I miss the speed of the SLR when I try a compact, though.

Just a P&S. A Canon a620 to be exact. I was thinking about getting some sort of DSLR if I had the money, but then I might not shoot nearly as much since they're so bulky. As of now I am really content with this camera. IMO, the best camera is the one with largest lenses that you can comfortably fit in your pocket.

What ever camera you use make sure you take a lot of pictures. The skill of the photog is way more important then the camera used.
