Resort or Ski Area: Gunstock

Conditions: Spring, warm and sunny.

Trip Report: Last day of the season at Gunstock. Was a fantastic wrap to their season, although they have plenty of snow to go at least one more week if they wanted to. Either way, I truly still love my home hill and cannot wait to ski again next season!

Yeah they had plenty of snow to go one more week at least. Although there is R*!N in the forecast and the base took a huge hit this past week - so I am happy with it. I do know with a little effort, they could push snow around and keep at least one route from the top, and a few at the bottom open up. Also, because many of their employees are seasonal, they are done too. I may try to earn some turns out of it, but definitely heading further north to take advantage of the insanely awesome conditions still out there.

Great report thanks for the photos. I like Gunstock a lot but didn't make it there this season. Your photos make we want to get back there early next winter. Also great to see your enthusiasm for your home hill. At the end of a season if you are not in love with your home hill you probably made the wrong choice at the beginning of the season!
